The portion of the request selection owned by this resolver. Traversal stops before fields and object types owned by another resolver.

Rendering the returned selection set with SelectionSet.toFragment may produce a synthetic __typename where filtering would otherwise leave an invalid empty composite selection. That field preserves valid GraphQL shape and does not represent additional resolver-owned data.
